Jay-Z isn’t the first rapper to tell someone they won’t get a penny. The Game has been saying this for years when dealing with his ongoing 2015 sexual assault lawsuit. AllHipHop revealed the news on Saturday (December 14); according to new court documents, the documentary creator has been ordered to appear in court on January 27, 2025. answer.
Priscilla Rainey, a former contestant on VH1’s “She Got Game,” spent months pursuing a $7.1 million award that was awarded to her in 2016. U.S. District Judge Mark C. Scarsi, who ruled, said this would be “The Game’s” last chance to present his case. The legal battle has been going on for nine years. She claims he reached under her skirt and touched her inappropriately during an off-camera date for the reality show. When the rapper failed to appear in court, a judge entered a default ruling in Rainey’s favor, awarding her a multimillion-dollar settlement. Rainey has since engaged in aggressive collection efforts, targeting The Game’s properties in Calabasas and accusing him of transferring the deed to his manager, Wack 100, to evade payment.
The fight for homeland is not over yet, according to final hearing order
Rainey served a levy notice and writ of execution on The Game and Wack 100 in June. He only learned of the court order to appear in court through media reports. Game previously asked the court to dismiss the residential sale order.
Despite mounting pressure, Game remained defiant, continuing to deny the accusations and vowing not to pay Rainey a dime. The battle over his home and reputation shows no sign of resolution as a January hearing approaches.
