R. Kelly’s Finacée, Joycelyn Savage, opposes the claim that the stigma of being disgraced in the new video goes against her will, but her parents say the shot is not real and accuses someone of using artificial intelligence to fake her appearance and voice.
The video was released this week, showing the savage calmly saying she was not a hostage, was not brainwashed, and was not dangerous. She also made it clear that she had no intention of talking to her family.
But her parents, Timothy and Jonjelyn Savage, did not buy it. In the video posted to Instagram, they claimed that the clip was digitally manipulated and possibly generated using AI.
They pointed out what they said was visual malfunction, including flickering shirts and out-synced audio, as evidence of problematic.
“We just want to make sure she’s good, happy and ok,” Jon Jaline said. “The video we saw today. It still didn’t answer our questions because the video is definitely AI.”
“We really need to find the situation of our daughter,” Timothy added. They said they have submitted two reports of missing persons in the past.
The couple insisted that they were not trying to rebuild their relationship with their daughter, but just wanted to confirm her safety and vitality. They said her gestures, voice and tone were inconsistent with what they knew Joycelyn.

R. Kelly’s lawyer responds to the savages
But Beau Brindley, the attorney representing Kelly, completely dismissed the AI theory and told TMZ that the allegations were untrue.
He confirmed that he had a conversation with Joycelyn before the video was released and said she told him the same thing she said publicly.

Brindley acknowledged that the video had some minor technical issues, including the ever-changing images of her shirt and audio lag, but insisted that it was real.
Savage’s video reaffirmed her loyalty to Kelly and kept her from her parents, which only deepened the rift between the two sides. The savages remained openly suspicious and said they would not be satisfied until they met their daughter in person.
