Quavo attends Kamala Harris campaign rally
Vice President Kamala Harris, the 2024 presidential candidate, hosted a campaign rally at Georgia State University in Atlanta on Tuesday (July 30) in support of her candidacy for President of the United States. Former Migos member Quavo popped up at the event and gave a brief speech.
“One of the issues I care about is addressing gun violence,” Quavo tells the crowd in the video below. “You can’t understand the fight against gun violence if you’re not there or at the heart of it. So one of the things I learned from working with Vice President Harris is that she always keeps things business. Quavo has supported raising awareness about gun violence since his rhyme partner Takeoff was fatally shot in Houston in 2022.
This is not the first connection between Quavo and VP Harris. In fact, Quavo is returning the favor. Last month, she gave a fireside chat on gun violence prevention at Quavo’s 2024 Rocket Foundation Summit in Atlanta.

Megan thee Stallion performs at rally
Quavo isn’t the only rapper to attend and participate in ATL campaign rallies. Megan Thee Stallion performed at the event. Hot Girl Meg took the stage and sang “Girls in the Hood,” “Mamushi,” “Body” and “Savage” for the audience, while supporting Harris’ campaign for president.
These are two of Vice President Kamala Harris’ biggest hip-hop co-signs since Joe Biden dropped out of the race and she took his place. Instead, Swae Lee went on a wild rant over the weekend urging people not to vote for Harris.
