Quavo reportedly owes the IRS $2.9 million in unpaid taxes.
According to a report published by TMZ on Wednesday (March 4), Quavo is subject to a federal tax lien totaling up to $2.9 million. The media site reported that in January, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) filed a tax lien against Quave, whose real name is Quavious Marshall, seeking to recover money he allegedly owed for three consecutive years. The IRS claims Quavo owes $915,660 in taxes for 2021, $887,486 for 2022, and $1,109,497.79 for 2023, for a total of $2,912,644.33.

Quavo got into tax trouble after Offset reportedly paid $1.5 million in taxes during his divorce from ex-wife Cardi B. According to Us Weekly, the IRS filed documents on December 26, 2025, alleging that the former Migos member owed $1,575,266.73 in taxes for 2022.
However, Offset still owes the IRS $486,426.35 in back taxes for 2023 and is subject to a lien by the Georgia Department of Revenue for an alleged $292,000 bill in 2021. All told, “Set is considering paying $778,426 in back taxes.”
Quavo and Offset aren’t the only rap celebrities to pay back Uncle Sam’s six-figure tax bill.
Back in April 2023, Lil Pump owed the IRS $2 million in back taxes. Meanwhile, in September 2025, former rap mogul Dame Dash reportedly found herself $25 million in debt, including back taxes owed to the Internal Revenue Service ($8.7 million), the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance ($9.65 million), Los Angeles County ($5.79 million) and the New Jersey Department of Revenue ($3.5 million).
