Pusha T and fashion are synonymous. Don’t take our word for it. The Clipse rapper did tell Vogue that he considers fashion to be part of his DNA. He often mentions different brands in his raps, and he’s a long-time friend with another fashion-forward icon, Pharrell. Once again, this connection proved beneficial. Pharrell is the creative director of menswear at Louis Vuitton. Meanwhile, Pusha T becomes the brand’s newest global ambassador.
The cooperation was finalized on July 8. “[Pusha T’s] The Louis Vuitton Ambassador nomination is a testament to his commitment to art and strong personal style,” the brand explained. “Both echo Louis Vuitton’s dedication to unique expressions across fashion and culture. Praising the rapper’s ability to introduce diverse cultural influences to keep the brand relevant.[His] As a Louis Vuitton brand ambassador, it highlights Louis Vuitton’s vision of bringing together diverse cultural influences.[And] crafting powerful storytelling within its storied world of menswear.
Pusha T participated in the Louis Vuitton fashion show
Pusha T has some experience with the Louis Vuitton brand. He walked the catwalk at the Spring/Summer 2025 men’s fashion show in Paris. He was joined by his brother, Clipse rapper No Malice. The two even premiered a song, “Birds Don’t Sing,” at the event. While the fusion of fashion and rap seems unique, considering Pusha’s main career, the rapper made it clear that he sees the two as one and the same. He told Vogue that his fashion influenced the hip-hop experience in the same way that hip-hop culture influenced the latest fashion trends.
“I never thought of hip-hop as just rap,” Pusha T explains. “It’s also about understanding what’s new [and are], come outside with a fresh feeling. It always made everyone very competitive and I always looked at it as part of hip-hop as a whole. I have never separated fashion from music. It will be exciting to see what Pusha T brings to the table.
