Pulis is voting for Kamala Harris. Not only that, but the rapper asked anyone on the fence about supporting the Democratic candidate to put their issues aside. Especially, if one is older, white. Pulis went live on Instagram on July 24, claiming that black voters, especially women, have long supported white men at the polls. He doesn’t have time for anyone who hesitates to pay him back on Election Day.
Pulis began by dismissing the debate over whether America is ready for a black female president. “Is America here yet?” he asked sarcastically. “It’s not about America having things happen over there. It’s about whether we have things happening over there.” The rapper went on to cite the support male candidates have received over the decades, claiming it’s now time for their turn There are female candidates. “After all these years, a woman can vote for a damn man,” he pointed out. “Especially women of color were able to vote for white people.”
Price has previously expressed support for President Obama
As far as Pulis is concerned, those who take issue with Kamala Harris are the problem. “Now all of a sudden, white people voting for sisters is a damn problem,” he asserted. “What the hell is that? If that’s the case, then it’s not Sista’s asshole problem. It’s his asshole problem.” Pulis actually continued his political rants on Twitter after posting the video. He accused President Donald Trump of having a criminal record. “You shouldn’t question anyone pointlessly,” he claimed.
Pulis’s music may not suggest political activism, but his stance has been very clear over the years. He expressed his support for Barack Obama back in the ’00s and even released a song called “Obama Forward” in 2012. Will believe it. “Just ride for us, make sure we drive straight.” Something tells us we haven’t heard the last of the rapper when it comes to Harris’ campaign. Who knows, maybe we’ll do another song.
