Pooh Shiesty surprised his mother by buying her a $1.1 million house.
Pooh Shiesty took to his Instagram Story on Tuesday (February 3) to share a video of his mother, Gladys Baines (Mama Shiesty on IG), surprising her after walking into the $1.1 million home with the help of Shiesty herself. In the video below, you can see the Memphis rapper’s mom burst into tears as she walks into her spacious kitchen and sees the balloon letters spelling out “Home.”
Luxury real estate agent Missy Perrin shared photos and videos of Baynes celebrating her luxurious new home on her IG account. Ms. Palin thanked the Memphis rapper for trusting her to find his mom a new home.
“The whole world is waiting for me and I can’t screw up,” Perrin wrote in the caption, referencing lyrics from Shiesty’s latest single “FDO.”
“Thank you for trusting me and your mother,” Ms. Palin added. “Thank you for trusting me throughout this process.”
Pooh Shiesty, whose real name is Lontrell D. Williams Jr., is currently incarcerated at home until April 11. The 26-year-old rhymer was released early from federal prison on October 7, 2025. Recently, the 1017 Global Music artist had to refute rumors that he was a snitch to secure his early release from prison.
On January 10, Shiesty shared a video on his IG Story showing off his indictment in the gun case that landed him in jail for more than three years. “Never told, never folded,” he wrote in the caption.
Pooh Shiesty is currently working on his new album, which does not yet have a release date.
