The Pooh is a free man.
On Monday in Memphis, Tennessee, the rapper was freed from a federal prison in Pennsylvania and has served in service since 2022 on gun conspiracy charges. Winnie’s friends and family held a welcome family gathering for the newly released rhyme. Video of the party can be seen below.
Winnie’s attorney Bradford Cohen has issued the following statement to XXL about the release of its clients.
“I’m glad that Winnie will release it in three years,” the statement said. “The government tried to give him 10, but after hearing the case, the judge agreed that we were inappropriate and gave him a sentence that led to him serving for 3 years. I know he will be bigger than ever and will definitely learn from this experience from this experience. He’s happy to start the next chapter of his story. I believe it’s all for some reason and I think it’s just the beginning of his second match.”
The Bear was initially arrested in October 2020, in connection with robbery and shooting in the Bay Harbor Islands, Florida. He was arrested for a May 2021 shooting at Miami strip club when Bond was out. In January 2022, he pleaded guilty, pleaded guilty and murdered a gun that suffered from violence and drug dealing. That April, he was sentenced to 63 months.
Little Winnie was originally scheduled to go out on April 11, 2026.
