“We’re making a movie that’s different from other movies,” Farrell told Variety. “I don’t know what kind of compensation it would be. People can try to put a label on it. It’s just its own movie. The upcoming movie features Lego versions of Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Timbaland and more.
“Everyone is doing well. It’s so fascinating when you see it,” Farrell said. “I love stop-motion animation. But that’s not the case.
Pharrell also composed two new tracks for the film.
“There are two new pieces,” he said. “One is designed for a specific scenario. The other is made for a specific scenario but tells a story; it’s like my thesis— [which is] This awareness that God is the greatest, just understanding that this is the story.
“The rest of the music is Chadian music [Hugo] I wrote some songs together, as well as songs I wrote myself, and songs we produced and wrote for other people. This is a very interesting music documentary biopic.
