Pharoahe Monch is scheduled to take the Lincoln Center stage in New York City on July 3 to celebrate the release of his debut album, Internalities. The event marks the project’s 25th anniversary and is free and open to the public, with special guests including MOP, Boogie Blind and more.
“I wanted to give a high-energy performance, but treat every song with care and respect,” he told AllHipHop. “Furthermore, it’s important to express gratitude during this performance. I want everyone to make it clear that I am deeply honored to be hosting this anniversary show at the famous Lincoln Center. Twenty-five years later, I truly realize To the point where I was a cog in this culture and did so much for so many people for so long.
Of course, Monkey also posted about the performance on social media, writing: “On July 3rd at Lincoln Center, I will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of my debut solo album, Internal Advisory. I will also be putting some Fantastic artists brought to the stage who have been integral to this album and my career. This concert will be free and open to the public! Pull-ups, let’s celebrate!

Pharoahe Monch is originally from Queens and first rose to fame as part of Organized Konfusion alongside Prince Po in the early ’90s. Known for their intricate rhymes and intricate puns, the duo released influential albums like Pressure: The Extinction Agenda and remain a touchstone in underground hip-hop. Monch’s solo career began with the release of his 1999 album Internal Studies, which included the hit single “Simon Says” – a song famous for its extensive use of samples from the film Godzilla.
Pharoahe Monch’s work has always been characterized by masterful storytelling, poignant social commentary, and the ability to seamlessly blend different musical styles. His lyrical abilities have earned him a loyal following and respect from his peers in the hip-hop industry. Munch collaborated with numerous artists throughout his career, contributing to his diverse body of work. Albums such as WAR (We Are Renegades) and PTSD: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder demonstrate his continued relevance and artistic evolution, exploring themes of personal and social struggle with depth and introspection.
Other projects include Pharoahe Monch’s work with the band Th1rt3en, which consists of Monch, famed guitarist Marcus Machado and Jack White’s drummer Daru Jones. In 2021, Munch made his late-night television debut with Th1rt3en on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” A three-piece choir performed the song “Scarecrow” from “Exorcist Feast”.
