OVO Chubbs has been riding with Drake for ten years. He appears in the film and was spotted partying with the Toronto star. Kendrick Lamar even mentioned him in “Not Like Us.” However, the long-time OVO member remains loyal to Drake, as evidenced by his recent social media activity. OVO Chubbs decided to like an Instagram post teasing ASAP Rocky’s new single “Ruby Rosary.” The single included bars aimed at Drake, and like most people, Chubbs wasn’t impressed by what he heard.
@Keep6Solid posted the original IG post. As evidenced by 6, this is a pro-Drake account and continues to invest in ASAP Rocky. The title of the article pokes fun at Rocky’s appearance and his relationship with his more famous costar Rihanna. The caption described the ASAP star as an “urban rapper and stay-at-home guy.” It also poked fun at J Cole, who previously sided with Drake but later switched sides. Cole contributed a poem to the Ruby Rosary confirming his opposition to Aubrey’s advance. “J Cole is a slimeball,” the caption read. OVO Chubbs seems to agree with both sentiments. He likes posts from his personal account.

Granted, ASAP Rocky’s bar is pretty weak. “Ruby Rosary” is a good song overall, Cole skates, but Rocky stumbles while dissing Drizzy. Stop the bullshit, stop the lies, say something to the wise,” he raps. “Who’s in your top five? Haha (fuck your top five). Good old Drake’s “Family Matters” and his 2011 interlude “Buried Alive.”
“I didn’t take a step, motherfucker, I got buried alive,” Rocky raps. “I hear dude talk funny, like ‘Family Guy.’ Care about black people, like I’m Mary or Bob.” Nothing more. It’s clear that Drake has become the loser in the 2024 rap beef when it comes to Kendrick Lamar. However, when it comes to ASAP Rocky, everyone agrees that Drizzy gets the best results every time. OVO Chubbs doesn’t go out of his way to slam his Harlem rival, but his fondness clearly demonstrates Rocky’s shortcomings.
