NORE says he hopes Kendrick Lamar and Drake can work out their differences and ultimately create one of the greatest hip-hop songs of all time. On Monday morning, he shared his prediction on X (formerly Twitter). “I predict Kendrick and Drake will crush it and end up creating one of the greatest hip-hop records of all time!!!” he wrote.
Few users agree with NORE. In response, one fan wrote: “NORE must have no idea that Drake offered Kendrick a feature about a first-person shooter, but he turned it down and called him a pedophile in a rap battle. ” Another added: “No. Kendrick has generational hatred — and, given the reasoning behind it, that’s not going to change. Drake is too arrogant to admit he did anything wrong, and Ken Derek has so much love and respect for the art of rap. Others mentioned how JAY-Z and Nas eventually reconciled and collaborated with each other.

Kendrick Lamar has been at odds with Drake since the release of Metro Boomin and Future’s collaboration “Like That” earlier this year. After mocking each other over multiple songs, Lamar seemed to win the battle with his hit single “Not Like Us.” In that song, he labeled Drake a pedophile and a colonizer, while also naming several of his crew members. Eventually, he hosted The Pop Out – Ken & Friends, bringing together several West Coast artists to perform his diss tracks.
