It was a huge success for the rapper in 2014, with his hit song enduring. The real story of the 10th Anniversary Edition, though, is the bonus material. Nicki Minaj treats fans to four previously unreleased songs.
Swae Lee appears on the energetic “Turn Ya Cap Back.” Rae Sremmurd stars on vocals, while Nicki Minaj alternates singing and rapping. “It’s Okay” is a hard dance number that also features David Guetta and Davido dropping by. Sure, it was an epidemic of its time, but it still rings. The beat is a prime example of the dancehall craze that swept hip-hop in the mid-2010s. The biggest story here, though, is the “Arctic Tundra.” The song was leaked back in 2019 but wasn’t actually released until now. Nicki Minaj and the late, great Juice WRLD prove they have great vocal chemistry on this song, which is a clear highlight. This Pinkprint reissue is worth your time.
