What’s going on with the lawsuit against Nicki Minaj and her husband?
According to a lawsuit filed by Thomas Weidenmuller in 2022, he was working security at a Nicki Minaj concert in Germany on March 22, 2019, when a fan managed to break into the stage. However, the fan was quickly taken away by security personnel. However, Weidenmiller claimed that Minaj became angry about the security breach and began yelling at a female security guard.
When Weidenmiller tried to calm the situation, this angered Minaj and the two began to argue violently, with Minaj allegedly throwing a shoe at him. Weidenmuller claimed that Minaj eventually told her husband about their argument. According to his account, he was later called to a private room by Mina.
Upon arrival, Weidenmuller was met by Mina, Petty, and Mina’s two security guards. During the violent confrontation, Weidenmiller claims Petty attacked him while three others looked on without intervening.
Weidenmuller claims the incident left him with serious injuries, including a broken jaw that he had to undergo eight different surgeries to repair. He also experienced pain in his head, neck and face.
In the original lawsuit, Weidenmuller asked the court to award him $724,000 to cover his medical bills and emotional distress.
