Nicki Minaj’s luggage was searched after police allegedly found suspicious items in her purse. According to a video posted by the rapper herself, she was met outside by airport authorities, who explained why they needed to check her belongings again.
“The police told me we have to unload all the luggage and search everything in your luggage,” one man told Mina as she filmed it. “I’m sorry for doing this. They did random quick checks, but now they want to open these things.” He explained that the initial check was cut short because Mina was filming him as well.
Minaj apparently still believes someone is trying to sabotage her Pink Friday 2 world tour, writing in the caption: “They keep trying to stop me from going to every show. They take my bag away before I even see it Got it. Put it on the plane. Now say they’re waiting on customs. That’s what it’s like when people pay big bucks to try and ruin a trip.

Nicki Minaj has suspected for weeks that someone was trying to sabotage her tour. In April, just before she was set to take the stage, Minaj took to social media to complain about a conspiracy to stop her from performing in Montreal.
“The midnight flight I had scheduled yesterday was grounded at 12:58 p.m.,” she wrote on Instagram. “I’ve never heard of anything like this in 15 years. A 70K G4 and we thought we were going to pay for that flight and any flights I took next. They thought wrong.
Minaj explained that her team asked if they could head out at 1pm but were told 3pm and then further pushed back to 5pm
“Show in Canada at 930pm. When we got to the plane they said “Still refueling”. At 630pm they said they were “still refueling” (an hour and a half flight),” she added.
Nicki Minaj claims she was subject to more intense searches than usual upon arriving in Canada despite not having much time left until the end of her tour. However, Mina did arrive on time.
Minaj is expected to arrive in Manchester, England, on Saturday night (May 25) to perform at Co-Op Live. The Grammy-nominated artist announced the second U.S. leg of her Pink Friday 2 world tour on Friday (May 24), building on the success of her first U.S. leg.
“We did it, Babz,” she wrote on social media. “The first US leg of the #PinkFriday2 #GAGCITY TOUR was so successful that I have been invited to do the second leg starting in September.
