Mustard says he no longer wants to make songs with “weird guy” Drake.
Mustard doesn’t want to work with ‘weird guy’ Drake
In an interview with the Los Angeles Times published on Wednesday (August 21), Mustard was asked if he would work with Drake again. The hitmaker flatly said no.
“I don’t think I want to make a song with that guy,” he told the paper. “He’s a strange guy.”
Interestingly, Mustard and Drake previously collaborated on YG’s 2014 hit “Who Do You Love?” But since Mustard produced “Not Like Us,” which is arguably the biggest Drake diss in hip-hop history, the chances of Drizzy collaborating on a song with the West Coast producer are currently nil.

Mustard accuses Drake, calls him white man’s Malcolm X
This isn’t the first time Mustard has criticized Drake. On August 2, Mustard went on an angry tirade on X (formerly Twitter). In his rant, he disparaged Drizzy, comparing him to a white man’s Malcolm X. Mustard also hinted that Drizzy influenced his friend, house producer Gordo, who released his new album Diamante on the same day as Mustard’s own project Faith of a Mustard Seed. The producer of “Not Like Us” suggested that this behavior was intentional and aimed at damaging the success of Mustard’s album.
It all started when Mustard shared a post revealing an unconfirmed report that his Faith of a Mustard Seed album sold 18,000 copies in its first week of release. The West Coast hitmaker expressed gratitude for the sales wrap-up. “Can’t thank you enough,” he captioned the post, adding the hashtag #FOAMS.
Mustard then added, “Album sales are a formality [White] You are racist, you are supreme.
Mustard slammed Drake for allegedly trying to sabotage his album release when a fan criticized his comments.
“Drake is Malcolm x [White] people [tears of joy emoji] and [DJ Akademiks] Make sure you post @GordoSZN the first week because Drake thinks he did something that got him and me dropping on the same day [tears of joy emoji],” he wrote in the post.
“These dragon robots are drizzle country,” Wasabi added. “The robot tried to make me disappear [tears of joy emoji]”.
