Mustard went off on Drake in a heated rant, calling him the Malcolm X of white people.
Mustard despises Drake, calls him white man’s Malcolm X
Mustard went on an angry rant on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday (August 2), which included mocking Drake, calling him the white man’s Malcolm X. The Not Like Us hitmaker also hinted that Drizzy influenced his friend, house producer Gordo, who released his new album Diamante on the same day as Mustard’s own project Faith of a Mustard Seed.
It all started when Mustard shared a post revealing an unconfirmed report that his Faith of a Mustard Seed album sold 18,000 copies in its first week of release. The West Coast hitmaker expressed gratitude for the sales wrap-up.
“Can’t be more grateful,” he captioned the post (which can be viewed below), along with the hashtag #FOAMS.
Wasabi later posted, though perhaps jokingly, “Album sales are a formality [White] Supremacy you racist.
One fan responded to Mustard’s comment: “When your album flops, it’s just racist. If your album sells well, you adjust your sales [two tears of joy emoji and two loudly crying emojis]”.
Mustard brushed off fan criticism but also slammed Drake, accusing the Toronto rap star of encouraging Gordo to be released on the same day as his own album. For those who don’t know, Drake is featured on two songs on Gordo’s Diamante album, “Sideways” and “Healing.”
“Drake is Malcolm x [White] people [tears of joy emoji] and [DJ Akademiks] make sure you post
@GordoSZN First week since Drake thought he did something that made him and I drop on the same day [tears of joy emoji],” he wrote in the post.
“These dragon robots are drizzle country,” Wasabi added. “The robot tried to make me disappear [tears of joy emoji]”.
Mustard seemed to suggest that Drake released the bot to disparage him and ruin his album.
In the past, fans have accused Kendrick Lamar of unleashing a mysterious army of hatebots against Drake.

Mustard explains making ‘Not Like Us’ for Kendrick Lamar
During a Zoom interview with XXL last month, Mustard explained that he hadn’t been aware of Kendrick Lamar’s song until its comments about Drake were made public.
Contrary to popular belief among fans, “Not Like Us” was not an intentional collaboration between K-Dot and Mustard. Mustard sent Compton Rhymes a variety of beats to choose from, and one day, without the producer’s knowledge, Kendrick chose the beat that would eventually become his ubiquitous Drizy diss track.
“I feel like I’m living in it now,” Mustard told the publication. “I’ve had big records, but I’ve never had one that was this impactful. So, it’s an inexplicable feeling.”
