Murda Mook is firing back at Joe Budden after he was recently caught mocking his living conditions on Instagram Live.
“Joe’s a dumbass,” the Harlem battle rap legend said during an appearance on the Uppercut Podcast. “I thought Joe and I were fine. I didn’t know that was the case.
Mook continued, “He didn’t call to check if #### was still alive. You know, it’s crazy to want to worry about your life, and [not] Worrying about whether you’re still alive. think about it. This is crazy.
Mook dismissed Bardem’s comments as “hateful,” noting the podcaster’s initial silence on Diddy’s accusations and criticizing him for clowning around in his apartment without examining the seriousness of the situation.
“It’s a special kind of hatred,” Mook added. “You watch something happen and we stand up and march for it. The police keep killing assholes. We see s### going wrong. When you see that, as a black man, you should care about this People. Especially if you think you’re cool you can bake them later first.
“That’s really how it’s done,” he said, before adding, “But it differentiates who is who and where we come from.”
Back in February, Murda Mook went live on Instagram during a confrontation with NYPD officers at his apartment. Police allege he scratched his daughter’s arm.
Joe Budden mocked Murda Mook on his podcast and said he zoomed in on his living conditions. “Yo, Mook. You gotta move,” he quipped after joking about the “box”-sized apartment.
However, Mook claimed in a new interview, “I’m out. I’ve lived in a few places, but it’s neither her nor there.
In a recent interview with 15 Minutes of Fame, Murda Mook admitted “I needed help” and said “my life was spiraling out of control.” He explained that he entered rehab after feeling lost after his mother’s death.
