Murda Mook and Lux dropped freestyle in Kendrick Lamar’s “TV Off” tool on Friday (March 20), thanking Compton rappers for their rap culture.
Freestyle was released on Friday (March 20), praising two combat rap legends ahead of the Super Bowl halftime show earlier this year.
Before Murda Mook stepped in, his trademark intricate word game started the freestyle, which was shouted by Kendrick’s iconic “Murdaaaaaard” adib.
Earlier this year, Lamar spoke openly about his deep respect for combat rap and his famous figures.
“From the first day, my intention was to always keep it as the essence of a sport,” Lamar explained. “I like it when the artist gritted his teeth. I still watched raps – from Murda Mook to [Loaded] Lux to Tay Roc, my brother’s daily life. This has always been the core definition of who I am. This has been like this since day one. ”

This is not the first time Mook has shared the stage. In January, the two performed at a private dinner event in New York. The event celebrates BMX star Nigel Sylvester’s Air Jordan 4 “Brick by Brick” sneaker collaboration. Jordan Brand co-hosted the event, which included a fashion showcase for the Sylvester clothing collection.
Mook and Lux published custom verses highlighting Sylvester’s sneakers and costume releases during the show.
The successful collaboration has sparked widespread speculation about the possible two-way Mook and Lux.
