Social media star Mr. HotSpot offered to clear Drake and Lil Yachty’s “Super Soak” song, but only if they re-recorded his clean reference track.
Mr. HotSpot offered to clear Drake and Yachty’s songs if they re-recorded his clean tracks
Social media influencer Mr. HotSpot broke his silence on TikTok on Saturday (August 3) to explain why he didn’t clear Drake and Lil Yachty’s collaborative track “Super Soak,” which features a sample of HotSpot’s hit song, “Merciful Providence.”
In the clip, which can be watched below, Mr. HotSpot reveals that he sent Drizzy and Lil Boat a clean reference track for them to re-record a revised version of the song. Mr. HotSpot will clear the track if they re-record on the clean reference they were sent.
HotSpot, a singer and avid basketball player, explained that since he works with children, he had to make sure the songs were clean so parents wouldn’t be upset if their children listened to explicit lyrics. He asked fans to be patient while Drake and Yachty re-record the song.
“We send it in [reference track]”They got it today and their boys are about to show up,” HotSpot said in the video.
As for HotSpot’s take on Drake and Yachty’s unreleased “Super Soak” song, which leaked on Kai Cenat’s Twitch streaming platform last week, it does have some explicit and lewd lyrics.
In one line, Six Gods raps, “SOD (SOD), super soaked (super soaked) / She yeah ah*e, but I won’t judge ’cause that was a long time ago.” Meanwhile, Yachty sings Raps about sipping codeine and calling women the B-word.
Simply put, Drizzy and Boat’s songs are not suitable for children.

Lil Yachty admits he leaked ‘Super Soak’ to Kai Cenat
During a recent episode of the Flagrant podcast, Lil Yachty talked with Drake about his “Super Soak” song and admitted that he gave the song to popular Twitch streamer Kai Cenat to leak it on his show. The Atlanta Rhymer told Andrew Schultz and his crew on the podcast that “Super Soak” wouldn’t be released because Mr. HotSpot wouldn’t clear the sample.
“I sent Kai a song to leak,” Yachty explains at the 56-minute mark in the video below. “We couldn’t clear the sample, so I just asked Kai to play it.”
Schultz then asked if the song would ever be released.
“No, but it’s everywhere,” Yachty said, adding that the sample came from Mr. HotSpot’s song “Goodness Gracious.” Lil Boat later shared why HotSpot chose not to give him permission. “He goes on like a Christian… It’s crazy, everyone’s like, ‘Are you serious?'” Yachti explained.
However, an improved version of “Super Soak” appears to be in development and will hopefully be released soon.
