After more than four years of legal proceedings, a defamation lawsuit filed by Sabrina Peterson against rapper T.I. and his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, has been dismissed in Los Angeles court. The lawsuit stemmed from allegations made by Peterson, who accused T.I. of threatening her with a gun, a claim that sparked a social media feud involving Tiny and others. Initially, Peterson’s claims included defamation and invasion of privacy, but the case was ultimately dismissed after the court determined Peterson had not pursued the case with sufficient diligence.
Additionally, the court dismissed a contempt charge against Peterson, who had failed to pay nearly $100,000 in legal fees owed to the Harrises. Despite this outcome, T.I. and Tiny have not entirely moved on from the legal conflict. In December 2024, T.I. filed a separate defamation lawsuit against Peterson, accusing her of spreading false allegations about him on Instagram. Though the dismissal marks a conclusion for one chapter of this long-running dispute, it seems the legal battles between the parties may continue for the foreseeable future.
