Ice Spice may be one of the most successful young women out there, but Moniece Slaughter isn’t impressed. During her recent appearance on Shirley Ju’s podcast Shirley’s Temple, the personality revealed which women in the industry she’s currently attracted to and who she’d sleep with. According to her, the “Deli” artist definitely won’t make the cut, but Tyla has a chance.
“Uh,” she said of the ice spice. “Leave me alone…” When asked what she disliked about the Bronx-born performer, Slaughter said her onstage antics and music were not her style. “First I want her to put her tongue back in her mouth,” she explains. “Does your tongue have to be hanging on your chin in every picture? Can we get some beats that aren’t Mario Bros. Can we just not pile it on, go go go go go go go go go go, or whatever? Me Can’t handle it.”

Moniece Massacres Shirley Temple
She went on to emphasize the importance of “real” artist development that her father taught her, calling on performers to make their performances less predictable. When asked who she was a fan of, she said South African singer Tyla, who rose to fame this year with her hit single “Water.” “First of all, she’s from South Africa,” she explained, “and secondly, she’s very beautiful. And thirdly, she can really sing.” Slaughter also praised Tyra’s sense of humor on “The Jason Lee Show” and her Eye-catching figure.
However, Ice Spice wasn’t the only artist Slaughter failed to impress. Elsewhere in the interview, she shared her fierce opinions of SZA, calling the “Snooze” singer a “lazy” singer.
