The younger DeLorean became beloved for sharing his story of substance abuse in a candid interview, which went viral after a colleague mocked the rapper for discussing his and his daughter’s addiction.
Dro and TI sat down for an interview on “The Breakfast Club” on Monday (October 14). Comedian K Dube kept laughing as Dro talked about his battle with drug addiction, and he continued to laugh even after Dro admitted that he overdosed and revealed that his daughter was also using drugs.
“Yeah, you’re going to get slapped eventually,” young Dro told K Dubb, sitting on the couch behind them. “I mean, we’re cool, but I’d slap them in the face on this one… I’m just telling you.”
However, TI prevented a fight from breaking out and immediately stepped in to defuse the situation. Thankfully, the intervention worked and young Dro was able to explain how he overcame his addiction.
