Missy Elliott has announced her first headlining tour, titled OUT OF THIS WORLD — The Missy Elliott Experience.
The pioneering artist is finally ready to tour stages across North America this summer as a headlining act alongside Busta Rhymes, multi-platinum selling singer-songwriter Ciara and super-producer (plus regular collaborator) Timbaland .
The tour is co-produced by Live Nation and Elliott’s longtime manager and Monami Entertainment executive Mona Scott-Young. The game will kick off on July 4th at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, pass through Los Angeles, Atlanta, Brooklyn, Tampa, Houston, Seattle and other places in North America, and finally end at Rosemont at Allstate Arena on August 22nd.
“This is an incredible time in my life as I’m experiencing so many monumental ‘firsts.’ Being the first female hip-hop artist inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and now embarking on my first headlining tour ,” Elliott shared. “The fans have been asking me to tour forever, but I want to wait until I feel the time is right because I know if I’m going to do it, I have to do it big, and I have to do it with my family! So get ready with me, Busta Rhymes, Ciara and Timbaland leave this world together! We can’t wait to share this experience with our fans!”
