Mike Dean and Kanye West have posted their current updates and suggest that their long-standing music league may not have ended.
In a recent interview with the Rolling Stones, the veteran producer said he and Kanye West were good, despite not working together yet.
“We’re cool. We just don’t work,” Dean explained. “There is no strong beef or anything. If we meet each other, we might hug and say hello and move on. Yes, there is a time we might come back. Who knows when? It’s a heavy problem.”
The duo, who has been working with since 2002, shares a deep creative history covering almost every album by Kanye West, from college dropout to Donda.
However, West’s comments on Infowars were reportedly praised, who praised Hitler and the Nazis, whose partnership was reportedly in trouble in 2022.
Shortly after these remarks, Dean sent a message to Steve Angello, Sweden’s House Mafia, on Instagram.
The post was scored by West’s 2010 hit single “Power” (Power), and writes: “When media attention becomes more important than life itself, you’re on a slippery slope. It’s sad to say provocative things to trigger social media for clicks and actions. Sitting there triggers the minds of less educated adults to spread your mind, like a virus, showing pure evil.

Dean later told Allhiphop: “I just shared Steve’s post because I think it’s amazing. We’re going to launch the positive S###.”
Although they haven’t worked together recently, the door doesn’t seem to be closed.
The two artists released a secret message in October 2024, suggesting possible reunion.
West even laughed at their Pablo era visuals while promoting his upcoming bullying album earlier this year, suggesting that it might be brewing behind the scenes.
