Metro Boomin’s new mixtape Futuristic summary It is not expected to be listed in the top 20 of the Billboard 200.
According to early tracking, the project will sell only 22,000 equivalent units in the first week, meaning it won’t crack the top 20 and easily be Metro’s worst debut on the billboard rankings.
These are Metro’s last two collaborations – along with Future, which was the top spot last year.
His last personal project Heroes and villains It also reached the top of the rankings in 2022.
The mixtape has not received positive comments from fans, and the producers later criticized it.
On X, Metro’s comments to fans hit: “A lot of people don’t have bits, it shows up. If you don’t, this mixtape isn’t for you: love twerk (or get twisted), want to dance, want to have fun, play parties like rock stars, Surf & Swag and Surf & Swag.”
Metro continued to growl, saying, “If you never went out to compete with the YA boy and see who gets the most numbers, you might want to sit down.
“If your guy doesn’t have to lift you up at a teenage party when you’re twisted, you might want to sit down.”
He went on to criticize his fans and said, “If you never deliberately wear a still label to wear clothes, you might want to sit down. If you’ve been listening to rap music since 2017, you might want to sit down. If you never have to write a number, you might want to sit down.”
There are many special guests in the lengthy mixtape, including 2 Chains, Future, Lil Baby and Quavo, while the likes of Ti and Wacka Flocka Flame also show up throughout the project.
Metro recently revealed that it was his lifelong dream of entering the WWE wrestler who stood out in the company’s Bad Blood Event last year.
On X, Metro wrote: “I’d love to make some WWE entrance themes. This is my lifelong goal.”
