Future and Metro Boomin’s “We Don’t Trust You” album is out now, and King Pluto delivers a classic Mobb Deep groove on “Seen it All.”
Future and Metro Boomin pay homage to Mobb Deep
Future and Metro Boomin released their highly anticipated new album We Don’t Trust You on Friday (March 22). Rap fans will notice that Young Metro flipped the beat of Mobb Deep’s 1999 song “Quiet Storm” for “Seen it All,” the 16th track on the album.
The moment makes sense considering the Mask Off group paid homage to Mobb Deep in the trailer for We Don’t Believe You, which was released on March 8. In the trailer, Future and Metro are seen wearing their best clothes in the desert. In line with Prodigy’s message to the eccentric rapper.
“There’s a lot of fucking trash rappers out here, like these guys running around, son, this isn’t supposed to be about rap, is it? This game is designed for choice, circle a few, pick a few, man,” Prodigy said.
Many fans are getting a feel for the samples. “Future stepped up his rapping. His soul samples and Mobb Deep samples are amazing,” wrote one user on X (formerly Twitter).
“MEtro gets future rap in mobb depth sample, Drake’s bad rap days of the past two years are over,” wrote another.

The title “See It All” was inspired by a prodigy’s words
Future and Metro’s song titles come from Prodigy’s words at the beginning of Mobb Deep’s “Quiet Storm,” produced by Havoc. On this song, Prodigy lets anyone who listens know that their rhymes are the real deal.
“We’ve seen it all, been through it, yo/Let you know right now/Say to your mother, really, really/This is the truth, I’m not lying,” he said.
