Metro Boomin has been sued for allegedly raping a woman in a Los Angeles hotel room.
Metro Boomin faces new lawsuit
On Tuesday (October 29), TMZ broke the news that the Atlanta-based super producer is at the center of a new lawsuit filed by a woman named Vanessa LeMaistre. LeMaistre claims in the lawsuit that she met Metro during a trip to Las Vegas in the spring of 2016. That September, Metro allegedly invited the woman to his Los Angeles studio, where she said she took half a Xanax pill and a glass of alcohol before passing out on the couch.
The woman claimed that when she regained consciousness, she was lying on the bed and Metro raped her and performed oral sex on her. She allegedly fell unconscious again and was later woken up by the subway, which told her she was in a Beverly Hills hotel and it was time to leave. Lemaistre claims she later found out she was pregnant with the producer’s child. She claimed she knew it was his because she hadn’t had sex with anyone else. She eventually miscarried the baby in November of that year.
LeMaistre believes Metro referenced the incident in their 2016 song “Rap Saved Me,” with the problematic lyric “She took Xanny and she passed out.” However, Metro only produced the song, which has lyrics rapped by 21 Savage and Offset.
LeMaistre is suing Metro, seeking punitive damages and unspecified damages for emotional pain and suffering.
Metro’s attorney, Lawrence Hinkle II, responded to the accusations, telling XXL, “This is pure extortion. These are false accusations. Mr. Wynn refused to pay her months ago and is refusing now Pay her.
XXL has reached out to representatives for Metro Boomin for comment.
