Megan Thee’s Stallion announced her upcoming anime series at Dreamcon 2025 in Houston while chatting with fans and creators, and celebrated Black Creativity at Dreamcon 2025 in Houston.
Houston-born rapper took the stage Friday (May 30) at the George R. Brown Convertion Center to announce her latest project – a new anime series that will be held on Amazon Prime video.
The series was reportedly developed in collaboration with Carl Jones, known for his work at Boondocks.
The announcement was filled with cheers from the crowd, many of whom were wearing role-playing and anime-style outfits.
Megan Thee’s stallion revealed that the series will reflect her personal style, humor and love for strong female characters, appreciating her long-term admiration for Bleach’s Yoruichi Shihōin.
The conversation, hosted by Briana Williams (also known as Storymodebae), touched Megan’s growing business empire.
She talks about her swimsuit lineup, Hot Girls Swimming, Tequila brand, Chicas Divertidas and her ownership of multiple Popeyes franchises.
The anime series has no release date yet, but it will only be streamed in Amazon Prime videos.
