Megan Thee Stallion is reportedly taking legal action against a blogger, suing the social media personality over a “campaign of harassment” sparked by the Tory Lanez shooting “Creating lies”.
The Houston native filed the lawsuit on Wednesday (October 30), accusing Milagro Gramz of launching a campaign to “defame, disparage, insult and spread false statements” against her, Billboard reports .
In 2022, a jury found Tory Lanez guilty of the shooting death of Megan Thee Stallion. In 2023, the judge sentenced him to 10 years in prison.
Megan Thee Stalling alleges in the lawsuit that Gramz continued to question whether she was shot and claimed she was “arrested for trying to deceive the court.” Meghan’s attorneys argued that Gramz told other lies about the case, including recently spreading the “bizarre claim” that the gun used to shoot Meghan was missing.
“Defendant Cooper’s statements ignore the facts and imply that the gun was never brought to court because it was allegedly missing. This is not the case,” Meghan’s attorneys wrote. “The gun remains in the custody of the Los Angeles Police Department.”
Meghan’s filing also alleges that Gramz violated Florida law by “encouraging her followers” to view apparent “deepfakes” of the Grammy Award-winning rapper.
“Defendant Cooper knowingly and maliciously promoted deepfake videos without Ms. Pitt’s consent,” the lawsuit states.
The indictment also alleges that Gramz engaged in cyberstalking that caused intentional emotional distress and violated privacy.
