Even though Megan Thee Starling and Nicki Minaj shared the same honor in different years, they’ve been feuding for some time.
On her late-June album Megan, the Houston rapper took a few shots at her fierce rival.
Meg was quick to reignite their feud, seemingly taking aim at Nicki on second track “Rattle.”
“I wish everyone was around me / But it was my fault, too friendly / I thought everything was fine / But all this time, you were my enemy,” she raps on the opening verse.
She later appeared to reference Nikki’s husband and kids, spitting: “Damn, bitch, it’s been four years / Worrying about your man and your kids / If you’re still reminiscing about the shit we did, your Life must be boring.
“Four years” seems to be a nod to Meghan’s “WAP” collaboration with Nicki Minaj rival Cardi B or Tory Lanez filming her, with Nicki attacking the “Savage” hitmaker The producers downplayed this.
Megan then seemed to take aim at Nicki’s allies and said, “I’m not worried about this bitter hookup/You hoes earned them a spot in the fan club,” seemingly referring to Young Money rapper bringing JT, BIA , Akbar V and others on the Pink Friday 2 tour.
Megan, Tina Snow’s first album since leaving her former label 1501 Certified Ent. It comes just months after a feud broke out between her and Nicki Minaj following a bitter legal battle.
The feud was sparked by Meghan’s vicious song “Hiss,” in which she made a thinly veiled reference to Nicki’s husband Kenneth Petty’s 1995 attempted rape conviction.
“These hoes won’t be angry at Megan, these hoes will be angry at Megan’s Law,” she said, citing a federal law that requires authorities to provide information about registered sex offenders to the public.
