Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez are always linked. Much to their chagrin. Lanez was convicted of shooting Megan in the foot and is currently serving a decade in prison. Despite the online harassment, Meghan was still able to have a successful career. However, both artists appear to still be complaining, leading to a request for a restraining order. Megan Thee Stallion decided to file a plea against Tory Lanez.
TMZ revealed the news on Tuesday. Megan Thee Stallion said the main reason was months of harassment by Lanez and his supporters. One of the supporters named in Meghan’s court documents is a woman named Elizabeth Milagro Cooper. The “WAP” rapper claims prison logs show a “conspiracy” between Tory Lanez and Cooper. She even concluded that payment had been made to Cooper. The payments were allegedly made through Tori Lanez’s father, ensuring Cooper continued to harass her online.
Megan Thee Stalling claims Lanez is still defaming her
Megan Thee Stalling describes this tactic as “psychological warfare.” She claims the harassment caused her to sink into depression and alienate her from friends and family. This isn’t the first time Meghan has detailed her battle with depression. The rapper told Women’s Health magazine that she struggled with her emotions as her career took off. “I cry half the time before I go on stage,” she admits. “Because I don’t want to [perform]but I also don’t want to upset my fans. ).
Meghan sued Cooper for regularly posting lies about her. Back in October, she accused the content creator of being a spokesperson for Tory Lanez. The most shocking material Cooper released about Megan Thee Stallion was a fake video of the rapper performing a sex act. The rapper claimed the video caused her “severe emotional distress.” She also accused Cooper of damaging her reputation as an artist.
