Meek Mill has been choosing violence all day, and now he’s reignited his feud with DJ Akademiks.
Meek Mill slams academia
On Monday (May 13), Meek posted a series of tweets on X (formerly Twitter) touching on a number of topics, including his long-running feud with DJ Akademiks.
“They all posted bad things about me because I don’t pay them, that’s why they make academicians rapist type couch potatoes [sic] Controlling the narrative of the biggest fight to track,” Meek wrote in a since-deleted post, referencing some of the high-profile diss tracks Ake has released over the past few weeks. “I was told he stopped publishing their business processes to me when they only talked about culture!
Although Meek Mill recently blocked Ak on X, the popular streamer caught wind of the post and responded in kind.
“Can someone tell Meek Mill to hang it up?” Ak tweeted. “You’re making the same mistake you made in 2015… stop tweeting. Go make a track dummy. Mance Crazy, his career was ruined by a singing nigga… …a blogging nigga, you blocked me because of a lawsuit, weirdo stop talking about me.

Meek Mill works his Twitter fingers
Meek Mill and DJ Akademiks have been exchanging footage for years, but things came to a head in February when Ak blasted Meek for not addressing allegations in a lawsuit that suggested Meek and Diddy were lovers. Meek scolded Ak for playing with his name, and the two exchanged snarky quips about X.
Ak wasn’t the only one to be criticized on Twitter on Monday. Meek also exchanged words with 50 Cent after Fif mocked King Combs for dissing the Queens rapper in a new song. Meek also accused Soulja Boy of taking on Metro Boomin over a tweet from 12 years ago that got a viral response from the “Crank Dat” rapper.
