Meek Mill wants people to stop talking about the dead, and took to X (formerly Twitter) on Friday night to explain his thoughts. “If you talk about your dead ancestors, you are damning your soul!” he wrote. “Stop talking about dead people…I haven’t seen it work yet!!! It’s mental faso!” This opinion received mixed reactions from fans on social media.
One fan replied: “I have to check on you ASAP if you think talking about ancestors is wrong you also shouldn’t be talking about respecting ancestors I respect what I talk about everyday.” Another added: “But they support Got me!! When I prayed to them there was nothing wrong with that!” Others claimed he was referring to the late Philly rapper YBC Dul. One wrote: “MEEK MILL STFU you have never spoken on DUL before so stop talking nonsense now.” Dull was shot and killed earlier in the day at the age of 25.

This isn’t the first time Meek has made headlines this month for his posts on X. concerns. “I wanted to ask Kamala Harris some questions about her past as a dad, even if she had to be tough,” he posted. “All I heard were rumors about her… I would ask her three questions about black and brown men in prison and her perspective and try to help her understand from an existential perspective what she might Never encountered a problem before!
