Maino brings his soul and apologizes not only to the women in his life, but to all Black women, on his new single “Forgive Me.”
The song, which was originally released on his album KOB 4 last December, got the visual treatment this week.
In the song, Maino raps: “Dear queens, I know I’ve been nothing but a king in this damn world lately / Please forgive me for my savagery and the habits I bring / I’m sorry I sometimes I’d lose my mind, don’t even think about it!/It’s my job to protect you, but what do I do?/I disrespected you and now everyone knows I ignored you!”

In other news, Meno recently weighed in on Diddy’s sexual assault allegations, comparing them to FBI counterintelligence operations targeting black political leaders over the past several decades.
In a new episode of “The Baller Alert Show,” the “Hi Hater” rapper brought up some historical parallels, but not before poking fun at one of the Bad Boy leader’s accusers, producer Rowe Deni “Lil Rod” Jones.
“You have a guy named Lil Rod,” Maino began. “First of all, his name should have a damn pause. n-gga’s name [is] Lil Rod? This is the pause. “
Meno went on to compare the numerous lawsuits alleging sexual assault by Diddy, as well as the ongoing federal sex trafficking investigation against the mogul, to the FBI’s COINTELPRO (counterintelligence program), which targets people it believes have Subversive organizations, including the Black Panther Party.
The program officially operated from 1956 to 1971, although the agency used similar techniques before and after that.
Maino said he’s seen similar dynamics in complaints and investigations against Diddy, similar to the bureau’s “informant jacket” technology that falsely labels members of targeted groups as police informants. .
“[I]If you understand the ’60s and what they did with black leadership, these were some of the strategies,” Maynor said. “To destroy you, they basically divide and conquer.
“COINTELPRO, what they will do is put out the wrong message. Let’s look at each other. They send out letters, they put out messages saying, this person talked about that person, this person was caught doing it. It makes us disorganized. Also, Propaganda through the media is a tool that is used all the time.”
The rapper also cast doubt on reports that Puff Daddy is facing an investigation into sex trafficking charges.
“They have to give me a clear definition of sex trafficking,” Maynor said. “So you’re saying he lets people sell their bodies? I don’t understand. Really? [involving] minor [people]? I am not sure. “
