Customers are willing to pay more than $1,000 for Mary J. Blige’s long-awaited line of boots. The queen of hip-hop soul collaborated with designer Giuseppe Zanotti to launch “The Mary Boot,” which sold out within 24 hours.
The sellout was notable as some fans initially complained about the price tag. The boots sell for $1,295 on Giuseppe Zanotti’s website.
“The Mary Boot was born from a collaboration between iconic Italian designer Giuseppe Zanotti and award-winning artist Mary J. Blige, embodying the two.
