PnB Rock’s killer, Freddie Lee Trone, has reportedly been sentenced to 31 years to life in prison for his role in the 2022 murder of PnB Rock.
PnB Rock killer sentenced
On Monday (September 23), local Los Angeles media KTLA reported that Freddie Lee Trone was convicted last month of killing PnB Rock at Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles restaurant in 2022 , was sentenced to 31 years to life in prison.
Throne was found guilty on Aug. 7 of murder, two counts of robbery and one count of conspiracy in connection with Locke’s murder in South Los Angeles. Trone’s co-defendant, Tremont Jones, who informed Trone Rock of his whereabouts on the day of the murder, was also found guilty and sentenced to 12 years in prison.
Prosecutors argued that Trone sent his teenage son into the restaurant to rob and kill PnB Rock and serve as the getaway driver. The younger Theron was charged with first-degree murder. However, he was deemed mentally unfit to stand trial.

PnB Rock’s family finally gets justice
The family of rapper PnB Rock has been fighting for justice for three years following his murder. Back in August, Rock’s mother Deanna Allen told Rolling Stone , “I’m here for justice. I want justice. This is my son, my baby. I want the jury to know he had a He has a family that loves him and wants to support him.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office also issued a statement in August saying that a third defendant, Shauntrel Trone, entered a no contest plea to accessory after the fact in July. She will be sentenced on January 16, 2025.
