Mac Miller’s long-awaited new album BALLOONERISM finally has an official release date.
The unreleased album was teased during the first day of Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw festival at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles over the weekend, clearly getting fans excited. The visual is set to previously leaked songs “5 Dollar Pony Rides” as well as “The Song That Changed Everything” feat. SZA.
Balloonerism was recorded about 10 years ago on Mac’s album Watching Movies With The Sound Off (2013) and 2024 mixtape Faces.
The official trailer has been released, with a release date of January 17th. Please see below. The artwork was also revealed here alongside album pre-orders.
Mac died on November 5, 2018, from an accidental overdose due to the “mixed drug toxicity” of fentanyl, cocaine and alcohol.
