Not only did Lizzo return to the music on Friday, she pushed the door to hip-hop with an all-around rap mixtape titled “My Face My Face Wounded with Smile). 13 Track Project released at warnings marks a new chapter for Doplato artists. She returns to rap.
“Yity on Yo Tittys” breaks the pop singer, but she insists she really likes rappers. On “Crash,” she talks, “They just went crazy because I was moving like a roller coaster.” In a brilliant moment, Lizzo linked to Doja Cat on “Still Can’t Fuh.” “IRL” features SZA and provides a smoother club vibe. Lizzo’s powerful rhythm and SZA’s spoken language may be a national anthem.
