Lizzo joked that after taking her weight loss plan seriously over the past few months, she was glad to finally be facing accusations of using Ozempic. She acknowledged fans’ concerns about her methods in a humorous Instagram post on Friday. “After 5 months of weight training and a calorie deficit, you finally got your Ozempic charge,” she captioned one of a series of photos in the post. She also shared a screenshot of a user asking her if she uses “Ozempic” or “Coke.”
Fans in the comments section shared tons of messages of support. “Who cares how you do it, you look great and feel great!” one user wrote along with numerous heart emojis. Another person wrote back to the haters: “You really make fun of plus size women and tell them they need to lose weight while calling them pigs, and then when they do lose weight you tell them they’re not making any progress and make them lose weight. It’s never enough for it to make sense.

The latest rumors emerged after Lizzo shared a snap of herself hitting the gym earlier this week. In recounting the clips, she reflected on the criticism she received for her body issues. “There have been a lot of comments about my body lately, so this workout video carries a message,” she said. I love my body, which is incredible because there have been times in my life when I was younger than I am now, when I hated myself.
