Lil Yachty had a lot to say on the Flagrant Podcast. The rapper has a reputation for being Drake’s best friend in the music industry, so naturally he was bombarded with 6 God questions. One of the questions has to do with Yachty and Drake’s recent collaboration “SOD (Supersoak).” The song was played by Kai Cenat during a recent Twitch stream, and fans have been eager to know when the official version would be released during the stream. According to Lil Yachty, the answer is no.
Lil Boat revealed that he was the one who sent “SOD” to Kai Cenat. “I sent Kay a song to leak,” he told host Andrew Schultz. The rapper later explained the reason behind Twitch’s switch: he and Drake couldn’t clear the song’s sample. “We were unable to obtain samples,” he added. “So I let Kai play it.” Schutz asked if SOD would ever come out, and Lil Yachti said no. Ultimately, however, he was pleased with the attention the song received as a result of the leak. “It’s everywhere,” the rapper noted.

More questions emerge. Schultz was confused as to why an artist like Drake couldn’t get permission to sample. Apparently it comes down to religious beliefs. “SOD” sampled an IG post where the poster did not agree with the lyrical content of the song. “He walked like a Christian,” the rapper explained. Lil Yachty claims he wasn’t given the chance to make an offer to the influencer before it was rejected. “I didn’t even think we made any money,” the rapper recalled. “He just said, ‘No.'” It was crazy.
The influencer isn’t the only one who doesn’t like “SOD (Supersoak).” Soulja Boy jumped on IG Live and accused Drake of dissing him in the song. “Drake, you’re talking about SOD super soak here,” Soulja said. “Boy, stop kidding me, boy. Better yell it the fuck out, nigga.” Soulja Boy even referenced Drake’s recent fight with Kendrick Lamar. Lil Yachty regrets discussing the fight on previous podcast appearance. In his blatant appearance, he said he would avoid talking about Drake’s business going forward. “I just wish I’d never talked about this,” he told Schultz. “I wish I hadn’t said anything.”
