Lil Woody has become a notorious figure in hip-hop. He became more famous, but for all the wrong reasons. Woody (also known as YSL Woody) has been called the “star witness” in the YSL Rico v. Young Thug case. As a result, he received a lot of disrespect from his peers. He verbally communicated with other YSL members on social media. Now, he appears to be opening up about his broken relationship with hip-hop personality Charleston White.
Lil Woody sat down with Adam22 to discuss his feud with White in detail. He admitted that he had a crush on White, but when he appeared in front of the camera, he felt that hip-hop personalities are two-sided. “I have a lot of respect for him,” Lil Woody said. “I used to watch his interviews and stuff on YouTube.” Things went wrong, however, when Charleston White started labeling Woody a “killer.” He also started talking bad about the rapper to his Instagram audience. “He goes online, [talkin’ about] I’m a killer,” he pointed out. “Like oh my god, man, me, don’t talk about this stuff.
Lil Woody warns White to ‘stop playing’
Lil Woody said his respect for Charleston White diminished after he noticed that he consistently hurt him in a negative way. “I have [love] For you,” he recalled. “I thought you had the same thing in store for me. But you want to call me a killer on these platforms. Lil Woody and Boozie Badazz have made it clear that he does want to have ‘issues’ with anyone.”
Lil Woody can become a lightning rod for controversy. That said, he told Adam22 that he wants to put it all behind him. “I’m not here to upset anyone,” he insisted. “I’ve been doing this for years. I’m trying to move forward.” Lil Woody made it clear he won’t play when he gets into a dispute with someone he feels White isn’t ready for a real fight with of confrontation. He effectively warned White to abandon such antics. “I know what I have to do,” he warned the hip-hop personality. “You’re still playing.” I hope the two of them can reconcile as before.
