Lil Wayne will premiere a brand new single this weekend at WrestleMania 40 in the City of Brotherly Love.
Tunechi announced the news during a surprise appearance on Monday night’s (April 3) episode of WWE RAW. During a backstage segment, professional wrestler Jey Uso encountered the rapper and asked him to stop by the massive event.
“I’ll be there, you know what, I’ll bring my single,” the Hot Boys veteran responded emphatically. “World premiere. WrestleMania. You know what it is.”
While he didn’t specify which song he’ll be performing, it’s likely to be his upcoming single with Young Thug, “Bless,” which will be included on the Weezy vs. Wheezy album with producer Wheezy.
The 41-year-old singer announced that the song will be released on Friday (April 4), along with a visual that features a wrestling ring.
WrestleMania XL is scheduled to take place on Saturday (April 6) and Sunday (April 7) at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with the first match taking place at Wayne’s.

Last week, Lil Yachty and ScHoolboy Q discussed Lil Wayne’s “insane” album sales while expressing how shocked they were at how far he’s come during his illustrious career.
On an episode of A Safe Place that aired in late March, the two rappers discussed album sales and how impressive Weezy’s performance was.
“Lil Wayne made a million dollars off of a leaked bootleg album! Carter III. I got this album a few months before it came out. N-gga from the barbershop put it in his In the back seat of the Buick,” Yachty began. “Everyone was on Joker Reborn. That was his rock album, right? He was Drake before Drake!”
For context, the 2010 album sold 176,000 copies in its first week of release.
To put the honor in perspective, ScHoolboy Q’s latest album, “Blue Lips,” debuted at No. 13 on the Billboard 200, selling 34,000 copies in its first week, according to Hip Hop By The Numbers.
