Lil Wayne has stayed silent during much of Kendrick Lamar’s beef with Drake, but over the weekend, he seemed to break his silence and support Six God.
On Saturday night, July 13, Wayne changed the lyrics to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” while performing at Zouk nightclub in Las Vegas. He also briefly showed off his OVO owl pendant chain.
Wayne can be heard jumping on stage and rapping, “They don’t like us,” over the T-minus instrumental. Some viewers were confused by this, thinking he was listening to Kendrick’s No. 1 single “Don’t Like Us.” “We” said “They don’t like us”.

Lil Wayne is called out on “Not Like Us” when Kendrick raps, “Fucked Wayne’s girl while he was in jail, that was conniving/Then tattooing his face like an apology Same.
The song appears to be a reference to the fact that while Weezy was incarcerated in New York City on gun charges, Drake reportedly became romantically involved with Wayne’s ex-girlfriend Tammy Torres. The New Orleans rapper discussed the questionable liaison in his diary, Gone Until November: Rikers Island Prison Diary. “I wake up still feeling bad about the day I spent. That’s what hell is! I’m used to fighting with my girlfriend [daily]but finding out she slept with Drake is the absolute worst thing I could find,” he wrote.
“Not Like Us” returns to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week, boosted by the release of its official music video.
