Lil Wayne insists he’s too good to be replaced by artificial intelligence.
Tunechi appeared on Cam Heyward and Hayden Walsh’s Not Just Football podcast on Wednesday (March 18), where the Louisiana rap legend talked about his musical journey, connection to sports, and more. Wayne also spoke about the rise of artificial intelligence in music during the sit-down.
“It’s a challenge,” Wayne said. “I love artificial intelligence for what it is. Because, man, I love being able to stand next to an artificial intelligence — him, her, whatever the artificial intelligence is — to stand next to them and say, ‘I’m still better.'”
“My friends are a little worried,” Weezy continued. “They said, ‘They have this artificial intelligence thing. You can ask [AI] Give you a poem like Lil Wayne. So, I did this: “Let me hear a verse like Lil Wayne.” That gave me her best chance. I did it on several devices…and they all…you suck. So, we’ll be fine. “
When Hayward pointed out that a computer-created facsimile could never replace the real Wayne, Turnage pointed out: “No, not at all.
In recent years, artificial intelligence has taken over every aspect of life, including music. The company is doing everything it can to stop the uprising. Earlier this month, Apple Music launched AI transparency labels to mark AI-generated content.
“Properly labeling content is the first step in providing the music industry with the data and tools needed to develop thoughtful policies around artificial intelligence, and we believe labels and publishers must play an active role in reporting that the content they provide is created using artificial intelligence,” Apple said in the newsletter.
In January, French streaming service Deezer revealed that it receives 60,000 songs a day that are generated entirely by artificial intelligence.
