Lil Wayne finally explains why he took a photo with Trump

Lil Wayne refuted criticism of his Trump photos, saying he only cared about his mom’s opinion as he released the “Tha Carter VI” for the June 6 news release.

Lil Wayne dismissed his 2020 photos in a 2020 photo by former Florida President Donald Trump, an event focusing on Black community initiatives.

He told Rolling Stone that he didn’t care about online reactions and only took pictures after Trump’s team suggested it.

“There are people out there, for example, ‘Everyone should take pictures.’ He didn’t even ask for pictures,” Wayne said. “(Trump) said, ‘These m ################################################################################################################################################################################################################################################## ” (Trump) It’s like, “Thank you.”

The image, taken a few days before the 2020 election, was quickly circulated online and raised criticism, but the rapper shrugged.

He said: “f ###No, I don’t care about the lack of rebound because I know, you know me.

Wayne, 42, was then awarded a presidential pardon by Trump in January 2021 for his federal weapons charges as a 2019 incident in which he was loaded with a gun on a private plane in Florida.

Despite pardoning hip-hop idols, he said he would not support Trump in the 2020 election.

“I’ll tell him, ‘You probably don’t want that because I don’t know what’s going on,'” he said. “I can tell you who won the last game, but I really can’t…you know what I mean? I don’t feel it about it. I don’t give AF ### that type of S ###.”

Wayne is currently releasing his fourteenth solo studio album, Tha Carter VI, which will drop on June 6.
