A lawsuit accusing Lil Uzi Vert and Roc Nation of sexual harassment and labor rights violations was filed, but was dismissed shortly after.
The anonymous plaintiff initially filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court on October 20. The woman claimed in the 16-page complaint that she worked for Uzi as an arts coordinator from 2022 to 2025, during which time she was subjected to Sexual harassment, wage violations and exploitative labor conditions. The complaint contains several sexually explicit text messages allegedly sent by Uzi to the woman.
“I’m alone right now texting me some stuff,” one alleged text message read.
“Show me that booty,” another wrote, “You’re not just my sidekick. You’re my asshole.”
Jane Doe also claimed that Uzi would get high on various drugs and would berate her while taking them.
Doe claimed she was forced to work overtime without overtime compensation to pay for her work but was refused reimbursement. She resigned in April 2025 because of working conditions that caused her to suffer years of emotional distress and health problems, the lawsuit states. She is seeking a jury trial.
However, on November 6, Doe’s lawyers dismissed the lawsuit. It was dismissed without prejudice, meaning the DOE can resubmit the application at a later date.
XXL has reached out to Roc Nation for comment but has not heard back as of press time.
