Lil Kim took to center court at Barclays Center on November 11 as the Brooklyn Nets unveiled their relaunched Notorious BIG-inspired “Brooklyn Camo” jerseys against the Toronto Raptors on the first “Biggie Night” of the 2025-26 NBA season.

Lil Kim teased her appearance on social media ahead of the event, writing, “Tomorrow I’ll be at the @barclayscenter playing for my home team, the @brooklynnets. It’s the big night so you already know the vibe every time we represent the legends, all right baby baby baby. Brooklyn we ouuutssiiiideee. Get ready for a night full of fun! Let’s put it in the books.”
Nets players wore a redesigned “Brooklyn Camo” City Edition jersey featuring a bold multicolor stripe pattern inspired by Biggie’s iconic Coogi sweater.
A “BED-STUY” patch designed by graffiti legend Eric Haze is sewn onto the torso to pay homage to the late rapper’s community roots.

The arena was refreshed that evening, featuring a Biggie-themed court, curated entertainment and giveaways, including collectible Biggie bobbleheads for attendees.
The celebration is part of a larger campaign in partnership with Biggie’s estate to commemorate his legacy and the borough’s impact on hip-hop culture.
The Nets plan to wear Biggie jerseys in 11 games throughout the season. Limited-edition merchandise, including hoodies, hats and T-shirts, was released to coincide with the event and quickly became a hot commodity.
Team executives and representatives of Biggie’s legacy emphasized that the tribute was intended to reflect the spirit of Brooklyn and the lasting influence of one of its most legendary voices. The phrase “Spread the love the Brooklyn way” became the campaign’s rallying cry.
