Lil Baby has some feelings for Kendrick Lamar and Gunna right now.
Lil Baby Reveals Kendrick Lamar’s Name, Gunna’s Relationship
Lil Baby is currently doing a press tour for his upcoming album WHAM, which is scheduled to be released next month. The Atlanta rapper recently sat down for an interview with Charlamagne Tha God for his Out of Context podcast, which premiered on Wednesday (December 18) but has since been deleted. During the chat, Baby was asked about the elephant in the room: the current status of his relationship with Gunna.
“We have no relationship,” Baby responds in the video clip below. Since Gunna reached a plea deal in the YSL RICO case in December 2022, a rift appears to have developed between the two former frequent collaborators.
When asked how Baby would react if Young Thug asked him to write a song with Gunna, Baby said, “I don’t think that’s going to happen… I don’t know what other people would do. But just me As far as…”
Fans believe Baby dissed Gunna in the 2023 song “350.” Baby blamed the incident on online speculation.
“This is the Internet they want to create,” he added. “I’ve talked about rats in every song since I started rapping. They just created a narrative. I’m not even talking about an*gga. It’s just rats.”
Baby also doesn’t seem to be feeling Kendrick Lamar’s move as it relates to Baby’s relationship with Drake. The Quality Control rapper appears on K-Dot’s “Not Like Us” with the line: “Lil Baby helped you improve your lingo.”
“I don’t really like that side of hip-hop,” Baby said of the issue. He confirmed that he and Drake are on good terms, adding: “If you’re arguing with him, why are you saying mine?” [name]?

Lil Baby will release two albums in the next two months
In addition to his WHAM album, which will be released on January 3, 2025, Lil Baby also revealed during an interview on Lil Yachty’s A Safe Place podcast that a second album will be released in February, titled Dominque, after his first name name.
“I still have some songs on WHAM that I’m going to use for Dominique,” he reveals around the 1:30 mark of the interview below. “I know my fan base really wants some of their songs. But I feel like WHAM is more like me on some young n*gga sh*t… Dominique is more like the serious version of me.”
