Trick Dad doesn’t like it when black women style their baby hair because he thinks it’s an example of them trying to look more like white women.
During an Instagram Live session on Thursday (August 22), the Florida native had a few words to say to his passenger, whose baby hair was neatly taped down.
“For 150 years, white women have been trying to be like you, and now you’re doing all the things white women do,” he said. “I don’t get it. They’re not baby hairs. You big ass woman! I see the girls standing now. Like they want to be free! The baby hairs go away when you two are together.
His passengers disagreed.
In other news, Trick Daddy recently issued a diplomatic response to long-running conspiracy theories about his relationship with rapper 2Pac before his death in 1996.
During an interview with VladTV in February, the Liberty City host talked about singing an unfinished song with the hip-hop icon following his untimely death.
During the chat, host DJ Vlad asked him about Pac Bar, which later became “Still Ballin” [Nitty Remix]”: “Because Trick don’t care, where are you now, you coward?
The 49-year-old singer clarified that he was not rapping in the major leagues during the hip-hop icon’s lifetime, but declined to reveal how Pac mentioned his name in the song.
“What I can tell you is, I promised his mom I would never answer that question, so I’m not going to answer that question,” the Florida rapper said.
In the same interview, he also revealed the song’s backstory, recalling Afeni Shakur reaching out and asking him to jump on the song’s remix with her late son version. It later appeared on the posthumous album Better Dayz.
“His mother reached out to me,” he began. “She said, ‘You remind me of my son. I have a record that you all should do, and you need to finish it. Whatever it takes…”
“I said, ‘Nothing is needed, just [for] You send me that record and I’ll give it back to you. I finished this record in 15 minutes.
He continued: “So I was on the phone for two weeks: ‘What did she say to the record? What did she say to the record?
“In three weeks, that bitch is going to be on the air. I’m like ‘Wow! This is my favorite n-gga in the world. I respect this n-gga and everything he’s been through more than I respect me. Brother, more than respect for my dad. He’s like a young nigger. He’s like our Jesus Christ.
